हतो वा प्राप्स्यसि स्वर्गं जित्वा वा भोक्ष्यसे महीम।
तस्मादुत्तिष्ठ   कौन्तेय   युद्धाय  कृतनिश्चयः ।।३७।।  
अर्थ : हे कुन्तीपुत्र ! तुम यदि युद्ध में मारे जाओगे तो स्वर्ग प्राप्त करोगे या यदि तुम जीत जाओगे तो पृथ्वी के साम्राज्य का भोग करोगे। अतः दृढ संकल्प करके खड़े हो और युद्ध करो।
